The Whimsy Keeper celebrates the moments of unexpected joy that appear when we allow ourselves to look at the world a little differently.

I was immediately drawn to the playful colors and the imaginative landscape of this Airship. Like many of the vessels in this series, it feels as though it has arrived from a place that exists somewhere between memory and dream—a world where ordinary moments can become extraordinary.

The inspiration for this piece came from a wonderfully simple moment. Mika discovered that she had accidentally left a bag of groceries, garlic, oranges, and cucumbers, behind in her garage. Instead of being frustrated, she found the humor in the unexpected scene. Her daughter’s reaction captured something even deeper: the hope that we never lose our ability to find delight in small, surprising moments.

The Whimsy Keeper is a reminder to hold onto curiosity, laughter, and the part of ourselves that still finds magic in the everyday.
