Release and Lift is one of the quieter moments in the Airship series.

With its open sky and gently drifting vessel, this painting invites a slower pace of looking. It isn't about reaching a destination as quickly as possible, but about discovering the freedom that comes from letting go of what weighs us down.

Mika's haiku has always felt wonderfully contemplative to me. It imagines a way of moving through the world with openness and grace, releasing what no longer serves us, embracing the present, and allowing ourselves to rise.

Perhaps that's something the Airships understand better than we do. They simply float, explore, and continue their journey, carried by curiosity rather than certainty.
