Visible Mending is a celebration of the beauty found in repair.

One of my favorite aspects of this Airship is the striking red patch against the warm earth tones of the lifting envelope. Rather than hiding what has been repaired, the mending becomes part of the vessel's story, a visible reminder that it has weathered the journey and continues to fly.

As Mika and I talked about this piece, we were drawn to the idea that care itself can become beautiful. A thoughtful repair is more than a practical fix; it is an expression of love, attention, and the belief that something worth mending is something worth keeping.

I love that this Airship wears its history with pride. It reminds me that our experiences, especially the ones that require healing, don't diminish us. They become part of who we are, making the journey richer and more meaningful.
