What Use Eternity explores the idea that some of life's greatest treasures cannot be measured by time alone.

As Mika and I developed the exhibition, we often found ourselves wandering into stories, folklore, and the questions they leave behind. This haiku was inspired in part by a classic Japanese folktale, but its message reaches far beyond a single story. It asks us to consider what gives our lives meaning in the first place.

These Airships drift through a quiet sky, carrying a question rather than an answer. If love, companionship, and shared moments are what make life extraordinary, then perhaps even eternity has little value without them.

For me, this painting is a gentle reminder that it is not the length of a journey that matters most, but who we share it with.
